Betty Selman

  2. Betty Selman was my 3rd grade teacher and I was mighty proud of that. Not only was she just the best but definitely the prettiest! I remember her seeing me REread a card as a high schooler in the old library. She came up and commented about how important the loves were in our lives and how romantic that was for this guy to have sent it. The romance and love she felt (for we knew who) was so sweet and showed me she taught more than education but life's lessons. I remember her compassion too when my uncle died when I was a third grader. She was with me as Mr. Lindsey told me. I'll always remember her for that. Beckie Hawkins Lee
